Local employers send their employees to our College to study at Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. The Level 4 Diploma in Accounting also provides exemptions to some higher level qualifications. When you have completed the course you will be able to: undertake duties at an advanced level in financial or management accounting. A financial accounting role could include preparing final accounts for a sole trader or partnership and preparing VAT returns. A management accounting role could include preparing management accounts which are used to make critical business decisions.
There are formal entry requirements and it is expected that students will have successfully completed the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, the Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping or have some other recognised finance / accounting qualification. Alternatively, we do accept students who have gained sufficient accounting experience in their place of work.

I enrolled on the part-time AAT bookkeeping course as a mature student and have found the teaching staff here superb as you get a lot of life experience from industry trained teachers.
