T levels or Technical Levels are groundbreaking new qualifications which are equivalent to 3 A Levels. T Levels offer students a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days).
T Levels have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for work, further training, or study.
T Levels are ideal if you have completed your GCSEs, and wish to continue your studies but also want to get into a skilled job. They are also great if you prefer a practical approach to your studies.
They enable you to build knowledge and experience to help you get the job you want. T Levels are developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so you will have the skills that employers in your chosen industry need.
T Levels are ideal for you if you are focused on a particular career or work skills and either want to progress to university, further training, an apprenticeship, or employment.
By choosing to study the T Level in Business & Administration at SCG you will be signing up for the opportunity to get involved in practical projects such as hosting events, creating products and services for business, visiting a court of law, pitching ideas to local businesses all alongside a significant industry placement and preparation for assessment.

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths, or a BTEC level 2 Diploma plus GCSEs or Functional Skills at level 2 in English and maths.
By choosing to study the T Level in Management & Administration with Business Supportspecialism at SCG you will be signing up for the opportunity to study the following units:
Core which covers the underpinning concepts and skills of the Digital sector. You will cover topics including business context, people, quality & compliance, finance, policies & procedures, project & change management, and business behaviours.
The occupational specialist which is focussed on the area of business support. You will cover topics including how to support the running of the organisation, organise and prioritise workloads and processes, recommend and deliver improvements to business practices, build and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Industrial placement which is mandatory and must be at least 315 hours over the 2 years.
To achieve the qualification you must complete and achieve all 3 elements you will also need to show competence in English, Maths & Digital Skills.

The T Level in Business Management and Administration is made up of two components. In year one you will complete the mandatory core component and in year 2 you will study an occupational specialism in Business Support.
This qualification focuses on the development of knowledge and skills needed to work in any sector within an administrative and managerial role, and will prepare you to enter through employment or as an apprentice. Furthermore, the completion of this qualification will give you the opportunity to progress onto Higher Education courses at university.
