  • Who is it for?

    This workshop provides a good introduction to three of the most popular Microsoft Applications used regularly in the workplace and at home. You will spend two weeks focusing on each application which include: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    This course will go over the basics and equip you to create a range of interesting and attractive documents, an introduction to spreadsheets and professional presentations.

    On completion of the course you may consider applying for the Intermediate course or ITQ Award which will enable you to develop your skills further in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Entry Requirements

    Basic computer keyboard skills are essential and an interest in learning to use Microsoft Applications.

    The classes will focus on the most commonly used applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Lessons will be held in a computing lab where your tutor will demonstrate how to use a range of tools and applications.     During the sessions your tutor will assess your work and provide feedback. Additional tasks will be provided for you to practice at home.

    It is essential to bring an USB pen, as it will enable you to take electronic copies of your work home.
