Qualified electricians wanting to install solar panels and battery storage in compliance with electrical and MCS regulations.
With the increase in electricity tariffs and changes in the PV tariffs, customers are looking to invest in installations and at other ways to reap extra returns from their PV Energy Systems.
In the first quarter of 2023 alone, over 50,000 households installed solar panels. Installers now have an excellent opportunity for new installations, or to revisit past ones, and advise clients on maximising the potential returns on their Solar PV System in the summer months and purchasing cheaper off-peak electricity in the winter.
Candidates must have at least one of the following qualifications to enrol on this course:
The qualifications above must have been achieved no more than 5 years prior to starting this qualification or there must be evidence the candidate has remained current by holding the latest version of the Wiring regulations qualification.

It is based on the National Occupational Standards and is recognised and accepted by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.
Multiple-choice written exams and practical assessment.
