Students who successfully complete Level 1 Electrical Installation can progress to Level 2.
Students who wish to enrol directly onto Level 2 Electrical Installation must have achieved GCSE Maths, English and Science at grade 4 or above.
You will study a combination of practical techniques and theory-based applications, and undertake a wide variety of standard electrical installation work within a workshop environment.
We’ll help you to source work placements through a variety of employers.
You will learn about:
Students will be required to attend Maths and English (GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2) depending on prior achievements and initial assessments.
Each unit will be assessed by end of unit multiple-choice online tests, supported with practical assessments throughout the year.
Students will be expected to provide their own overalls, safety shoes and contribute to the cost of any additional enrichment activities. If you are aged 19 or over materials fees are payable on enrolment.
