VTCT Remove Hair Using Waxing Techniques

This course is for anyone wanting to further a career in beauty therapy or wanting to upskill in wax depilation techniques. After this course, you could work in a salon, be self-employed or maybe complete other beauty therapy courses.

A passion for beauty therapy/ good communication skills and willing to receive waxing treatments and practice techniques with peers.

As part of this course, you will learn relevant health and safety, client care and communication, anatomy and physiology and waxing skills, applying warm and hot wax to different areas of the face and body.

The work will be assessed continually through a variety of formative and summative assessments on peers and clients with constructive feedback throughout the course allowing you to build confidence and skill. You will also be required to build a portfolio of evidence to show competence. There is also a written assignment and an exam to complete.

Continual at home practice will be required.
