T Level in Hairdressing, Barbering & Beauty Therapy: Beauty Therapy

Specifically designed for those 16-19 who want to work in the beauty profession. You will need to have a genuine interest in performing practical treatments, communicating with a variety of clients and developing core skills.

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English.

The technical qualification will include relevant and meaningful work placement. You will learn the core skills and knowledge required for a beauty therapist. Incorporated within the qualification will be English, Maths and digital skills.

The qualification compromises of

• Develop and recommend bespoke treatment plans and experiences.
• Provide hand, foot and nails services.
• Provide a range of hair removal services.
• Perform a range of manual and technical treatments using basic and advanced therapy techniques and equipment.
• Create and demonstrate a range of make-up looks including enhancement of eye lashes and brows.

The course is assessed through industry placement, employer set projects, exams, practical activities, presentations skills, teamwork, communication and professional discussion

There is a kit and uniform to purchase.

This is a 2 year course.
