T Level Foundation Programme: Health & Science Route

The T Level Foundation Programme provides a high-quality route onto T Levels for students who would benefit from the additional study time and preparation that it will give them before they start their T Level.
Our T Level Foundation Programme is a one-year course designed to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to support progression onto, and success on, a T Level.

You will need a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, preferably including maths or English.

There is a T Level Foundation Programme to prepare you for each T Level subject area. You’ll learn about the different T Levels within this subject area and their career opportunities, so that you can decide on the correct T Level for you. T Levels have a broad range of potential progression outcomes. 

The college will be offering a Foundation Programme to allow students to move onto the following T Levels:

• T Level in Health: Supporting the Adult Nursing Team
• T Level in Health: Supporting Mental Health
• T Level in Health: Supporting Midwifery

A wide range of assessment methods will be used throughout your programme, including presentations, group work, assignments, observation of activity, scenario projects, and external assessments which will develop your confidence for the success on T-Levels.

Upon the successful competition of the Foundation Programme for your preferred T Level route, you would then be expected to go onto study the T Level route of your choice.

After T Levels, you could progress straight into a skilled job or continue your studies via an apprenticeship or higher technical qualification.

You can apply online via the APPLY NOW button and then add an additional two or three subjects to make up your academic programme. You can also apply for a second, alternative vocational programme of study via a separate application.
