  • Who is it for?

    Anyone who is interested in cooking and enhancing their skills and techniques whilst making new friends.

  • Entry Requirements

    No formal qualifications just a keen interest in food.

  • What does the course involve?

    This is a fun practical class where you will learn new recipes, food safety skills, trade tips and how to present completed dishes.

    Our chef is passionate about street food and has had his own pop up street food business for over 5 years.

    The course will cover :-

    • Mexican : enchiladas, burritos and rice dishes. Dish history and costings.
    • Lebanese : falafel, various vegetable dishes, couscous, humus and meze.
    • Moroccan and Cuban : tagines, cuban pulled pork and emmental, apricot and coriander chicken. Spice balancing.
    • Greece : Souvlaki (delicious traditional kebabs), Gyros (filled pittas with chips, tomato, chicken and tzatziki)


  • How is the course assessed?

    Feedback given on dish completion.

  • What do I do next?

    You are able to enrol at the College in person or by phone on 01743 342333 between 9.00am-5.00pm Monday - Thursday and 9.00am-4.30pm on Friday. You can also enrol and chat to staff at our advice / enrolment events which happen throughout the year or use our Live Chat facility.

    You will be required to pay your course fees at the time of enrolment, so please ensure that you bring an appropriate payment method with you, (as well as appropriate evidence if you are eligible to have any fees waived).
