  • Who is it for?

    Anyone who is interested in cooking and enhancing their skills and techniques whilst making new friends.

  • Entry Requirements

    No formal qualifications just a keen interest in food.

  • What does the course involve?

    This is a fun practical class where you will learn new recipes, food safety skills, trade tips and how to present completed dishes.

    The course will cover :-

    • America welcomes you with classic burger making, beer battered onion rings and fresh buns.
    • New York : Grits and filled Bagels. Mississippi Mud Pie.
    • Sweeet Treat : Chocolate Brownie, Pecan Pie and Key Lime Pie. Pastry making tips.
    • Louisiana : Southern Fried Chicken with home-made tomato sauce and sweetcorn fritters.
  • How is the course assessed?

    Feedback given on dish completion.

  • What do I do next?

    You are able to enrol at the College in person or by phone on 01743 342333 between 9.00am-5.00pm Monday - Thursday and 9.00am-4.30pm on Friday. You can also enrol and chat to staff at our advice / enrolment events which happen throughout the year or use our Live Chat facility.
