The course will include an overview of the key maths topics and methods used at primary level:

• Number, place value, addition and subtraction
• Multiplication and division
• Fractions, decimals and percentages
• Properties of shapes
• Measurement
• Ratio and proportion
• Statistics

There are no exams or tests. Our aim is to make sure you are equipped with the knowledge to meet and understand the requirements of the tailored syllabus, based on your areas for development within our tailored software package.

If you are aged 19 or over, live in Shropshire and don’t have a GCSE in maths (or equivalent) this course is free to you

You will need access to a PC or tablet with a connection to the internet.

A lot of people say they are not a ‘numbers person’ and that maths makes them feel quite anxious. We would like to reassure you that the delivery style takes this into account as you are encouraged to work at your own pace with online tutorial support.
