Leslie Babb, Hospitality Assessor
Leslie started his career on a two year City & Guilds Hospitality course where he gained experience as a chef and waiter. After that he did an apprenticeship in a hotel in Birmingham, followed by 27 years of various jobs in the hospitality industry at different levels. Lesley gained his assessor award in 1998 and trained his first chef in-house for the hotel he was working in at the time. In 2009 Leslie started training hospitality apprentices full-time, before coming to Shrewsbury College in 2016 as a hospitality and catering assessor.
