Student checking calendar

Shrewsbury Colleges Group would like to inform students and parents about some changes to the timetable for the beginning of July.

There are a number of days at the beginning of July when students will not be expected to attend college but instead do independent study at home or partake in work experience.

All students

On Friday 1 July, timetabled lessons will not take place. Students will be allocated tasks to study and complete at home or attend work experience as agreed. The Learning Resource Centres will be available for study space.

English Bridge Campus and Welsh Bridge Campus students

Students who are studying at either the English Bridge Campus or the Welsh Bridge Campus will not be required to attend college on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 July. Instead, students will be expected to complete their arranged work experience or coursework tasks.

London Road Campus students

Students studying at the London Road Campus will not be required to attend college on Wednesday 6 July. Instead, students will be expected to complete their assigned tasks at home on this day.

Exceptions

Students who have an assessment or exam will be expected to still attend college to complete the exam or assessment on 1, 4, 5 or 6 July.

Adult students, higher education students and apprentices will be required to attend as advised by their tutors or teachers.

If students have any questions regarding the above, then they should contact their tutor or teacher.
