What we can offer:

Taster Sessions (Years 9, 10 & 11)

These sessions, based in College, allow students to experience a subject they are interested in before they make their final decision. Tasters are available in many subject areas throughout the year, with the possibility of students to come in at other times. View details here.

Workshops (Years 10 & 11)

Workshops are tailored to suit individual subject areas and can take place in school. This may be as part of a careers day, PSHE lesson or as a lunchtime session.

College Visits and Tours (Years 10 & 11)

Please contact us and we will arrange for individuals or groups of students and teachers to have a tour of the campus and view the classrooms, workshops and on-site facilities.

Presentations (Years 10 & 11)

We can visit your school to give a presentation about the Colleges Group in general, or we can tailor our presentations to suit individual subject areas.

Careers Conventions and Parents Evenings (Years 10 & 11)

We are always available to attend Parents Evenings and Careers Conventions to provide information, advice and guidance about the opportunities on offer at Shrewsbury Colleges Group.

Help with Applications (Year 11)

We are able to offer application help and support, either to groups of students, or individuals as part of a ‘drop in’ session.

Please contact us if you have any queries or would like to discuss other ways in which we can support young people in making their next steps.
