Shrewsbury Colleges Group and The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust have created a unique partnership to benefit young people, the county and the community. By joining together strategically we can provide you with the education and training to meet a wide range of career paths and employment opportunities within the NHS.
Together we have the career planning available for entry to university supported by placements, scholarships and mentoring support as you go through university for medical and associated routes. We can provide education and training through both full-time and Apprenticeships for the wide range of services provided at each NHS site, such as estates, catering, business administration, accountancy, HR, and engineering. Events and activities planned throughout the duration of your course will enable you to sample the roles and plan your journey to employment.
The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is the main provider of district general hospital services for nearly half a million people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales. Shrewsbury Colleges Group has transport links from all these areas with a full range of academic and vocational courses and Apprenticeships that provide the skills and behaviours the largest employer in the county requires.
The NHS Trust will be at College Advice Events to discuss careers, and events will be held at the Hospital throughout the year supported by The College providing course information.
