If you’ve ever fancied learning something new, but want the freedom to fit it in around your own commitments and learn at your leisure, then a FREE Distance Learning Course via Shrewsbury Colleges Group could be for you.
The College now offers 20 NCFE CACHE Level 2 courses, for anyone over the age of 19 and resident in certain parts of England*.
Courses are short, usually taking between 2-4 months to complete, and have flexible start dates, so you can enrol at virtually any time in the year.
The courses are designed to help create a career pathway in your chosen industry, enable you to experience a new area of interest for a possible career change.
Personal Care Needs is one of the latest courses to be added to the subject list, which also includes a range courses focussed around business management and health and social care.
Caroline Thornton, Team Leader for Distance Learning at Shrewsbury Colleges Group, said: “There is no requirement to attend College, so these courses can be taken by people living all across in England and over the border into Wales.
“You’ll gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Certificate and feedback is always provided to ensure you have the support you need to succeed. Reading materials and assessment paperwork are provided to enable you to study independently.
“There are no exams, just assessments and work is paper-based, so you don’t even need access to a computer. It’s a really flexible way of learning.”
