At Shrewsbury Colleges Group we do our best to make HE study as easy as possible for you and that includes making living away from home for the first time an exciting prospect, rather than a cause for concern. Student accommodation is now available in the centre of Shrewsbury. Mardol House Student Accommodation is managed by Shropshire Council and is situated near the town centre’s array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as the River Severn, Quarry Park and Theatre Severn.
The accommodation is also close to all major public transport services, including a regular bus route to our London Road Campus.
Mardol House is a newly renovated building with 84 secure en-suite rooms, offering a mix of single rooms with shared kitchen, dining and lounge areas, as well as studio apartments. Facilities include fridge, freezer, microwave, launderette and a concierge service for any maintenance and welfare needs.
All the accommodation contracts are 39 weeks in length, which means you won’t have to vacate your room during the holidays. You may also have the option to stay in your accommodation over the summer, if prior arrangements have been made with Shropshire Council.
Additional student accommodation, The Tannery, is being built in the town centre which can also be accessed by our students.
