AAT have recently refreshed their qualifications to address the industry need for accountants to be more business-minded, technology focussed and act in an advisory role. These new qualifications will launch in September 2022 and our tutors will give an overview of the qualifications and answer questions about the courses, providing advice on the best route for you.

The qualifications that we will be offering include:
Level 1 Award in Business Skills | Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping | Level 2 Certificate in Accounting | Level 3 certificate in Bookkeeping | Level 3 Diploma in Accounting | Level 4 Diploma in Accounting | Apprenticeships at Level 2, 3 and 4

Come and find out more about the new qualifications including:

  • New funding available at Level 3 for those below the national living wage (£18,525)
  • What to expect with your next level of learning
  • The new expanded Level 2 Bookkeeping qualification
  • The changes in the qualifications such as the removal of synoptic assessments at Levels 3 and 4
  • An opportunity to discover a new career path in bookkeeping or accountancy

We are seeing a big rise in local jobs in accounting with many employers struggling to fill vacancies and many of our students gain new roles or promotions upon qualification. As part of the Government's drive for skills enhancement, Level 2 and Level 3 courses are currently free if you earn below £18,525 per annum and free Level 3 to students who have not yet studied a Level 3 qualification.

Session One 10:00-11:00am - Where to start in accounting and bookkeeping and overview of all AAT courses – for those students who do not know where to start and are looking to get going in September

Session Two 11:00am-12:00noon - Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping and Level 3 Diploma in Accounting – for those students who have already completed an AAT Level 2 qualification
