This course is for those beginners or novices who are interested in traditional hand rendered printmaking. This course will introduce you to the processes and techniques you will need to create wonderful prints for a variety of purposes.
You will learn to use monotype, linocut, etching, chine collé and silkscreen printing. After this course you will leave with a range of processes that you may apply to your own work or develop a specialised portfolio that shows off your print creativeness to family and friends.
There are no formal entry requirements, just an interest in learning more about traditional printing.
During the course you will use the professional print facilities of the art school to compile a portfolio of techniques which evidence the unique processes of traditional hand rendered print. Giving you the confidence to develop these skills to help you improve your printing and create eye-catching images.
