We have successfully delivered information sessions for Post 16 options for the last four years, we are hoping to continue to provide this valuable information for year 11 pupils in 2021 whilst adhering to the Coronavirus safety guidelines, we will continually review the arrangements and keep you updated.

Post 16 Options Roadshows are information events for pupils leaving Year 11 for Sixth Form or Further Education. These free to attend mini expos typically take place in September/October each year and bring together the main providers of post 16 education in the area. However, these events are available to view online now, by clicking the link below. Each institution has a stand with course information and staff available to speak to regarding your particular interests. In addition, there will be information from the Principal of Shrewsbury Colleges Group explaining how the different qualifications work and allow you to progress to university and employment.

We offer such a wide range of Post 16 courses, it can be hard to narrow down your choices to three/four A Levels or one Vocational subject, lots of which will be brand new to you and not studied at school.

That's why we run a number of subject Taster Events throughout the year which are a great opportunity to get a better feel for the courses we offer and which ones you may want to apply for. The on-site events also provide you with an idea of what College life is like.
