Due to the large number of students taking GCSE English and maths exams this summer at the London Road Campus, there will be some significant changes to timetables on the affected days.
For students NOT sitting GCSE exams, the main building on the campus will be closed on the following dates and times:
- Thu 16 May - between 9am and 12.15pm
- Thu 23 May - between 9am and 12.15pm
- Mon 3 June - between 9am and 12.15pm
- Thu 6 June - between 9am and 12.15pm
- Mon 10 June - between 9am and 12.15pm
Students who would normally be taught in the main building and who are not sitting GCSE exams should work remotely on work set by their teacher, unless their teacher or personal tutor has asked them to attend college
Buildings not affected by these exams will be open as per normal with timetabled classes continuing as normal. The buildings unaffected are:
- Performing Arts
- Construction
- Engineering
- Motor Vehicle
- Higher Education Centre
Students are to attend the College site as normal in the afternoon of the exam dates. Should travel prevent students from attending, their teachers will be providing work online that students can access remotely.
