General Exam Information
SUMMER 2021 EXAMS - CONTINGENCY DAY (29 June 2021)
In the spring term students will receive their individual exam timetables, highlighting when their final exam will take place. The summer written exam period will run from Monday 10 May to Friday 25 June 2021.
In addition to these dates Examination awarding bodies have arranged Tuesday 29 June 2021 as a contingency exam day for GCSE and/or A Level (or equivalent) examinations in all schools and colleges. This contingency day has been put in place in the event of widespread, sustained national or local disruption to examinations, giving the option to postpone an exam in the event of an incident and rearrange for a later date to allow all students a fair and equal chance.
This means that all exam candidates must be available to sit exams from the date of their first exam until Tuesday 29 June 2021.
