At several points in the year students receive progress grades in each of their courses. Progress Review grades give an indication of the likely final outcome based on the student’s work to date, and are available for parents to view via *ProPortal. Staff may also refer to an MTG (Minimum Target Grade), which is calculated from a student’s GCSE score. The MTG for a student is based on the grade that a student in the top 25% in the country would be expected to achieve with similar GCSE grades. Tutors and teachers set individual targets with students in order for them to maximise their success.

ProPortal is a student information system, which allows parents/carers to view student progress, attendance and other information held at College. Parents/carers are required to register for an account.

To log in to or register for ProPortal please click here. This process involves some manual data checking so any account requests made after 4.30pm on Thursdays will not be actioned until the following Monday and during term-time only.
Data used to authorise the ProPortal account, including parents’/carer’s email address, must match that which was provided by students on their application or in the data check sheets. If the data does not match our student records, the request will be rejected and the student will be required to update their records with the college accordingly.
