Events include a Christmas concert, a special anniversary concert, a Celebrating Achievement Evening, a Bands’ Night and our Graduation Ceremony in St Chad’s Church. Groups include Voci Forti (an audition-only Acappella choir), a college choir, a concert band, an orchestra, a big band, a chamber orchestra, four rock bands, a folk band, a string quartet, and dance workshops with Arcadian Youth Dance, amongst many others.

Various large productions are put on throughout the year - previously these have included “The Addams Family”, “Night at the Musicals”, “Aladdin”, "All Shook Up", “Guys and Dolls” and “Evita”. Instrumentalists and serious vocalists interested in performing in any of our main ensembles should sign up for our unique ‘music activities’ course.

Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport Rugby Education Pathway

My whole life is rugby. I study it at college, play for the Telford Hornets and do it as enrichment. On the girls' rugby team, we're at various levels, so it's about helping each other out and getting to the best level we can as a team. I want to go to uni, but I'll be in a rugby team while I'm there.

I think doing sports enrichment is a lot of fun. I usually play football for Shrewsbury Town FC, but at college, you can play matches with slightly less pressure. That's what I really enjoy: the fun, more relaxed aspect of it all.
