Opportunities include employer visits, shadowing opportunities, block placements or regular placements throughout the year.

The team organises over 1400 placements annually and has built solid relationships with local and national employers.
Shrewsbury Colleges Group is proud to be delivering the new T Level Industry Placements as part of a national Department for Education pilot in preparation for the introduction of T Levels from 2020 onwards. Industry Placements offer employers a superb opportunity to test drive the talent of Level 3 students during a minimum 315 hour placement over 45-60 days throughout the academic year. Employers offer students a placement that directly relates to their study programme and students benefit from embedding their college-based learning in real-time employer projects. For employers, it is a useful tool in resource planning, with Industry Placements often developing into an apprenticeship or paid employment opportunities.
