End of Term Information and key dates at Shrewsbury Colleges Group.

As the summer term comes to an end, I wanted to let you know about a few things ahead of the summer holiday to help you make the most of the break.

Key dates for you to note

Formal teaching will finish on Friday 14 July for the summer term. Please note that this is a full day of teaching.

Year 2 A Level and Year 2 Art students.

These students will be in college with an adjusted timetable on Monday 4 September and Tuesday 5 September to start their second-year courses. Students will then have work to complete independently from Wednesday to Friday while new Yr 1 students have a three-day induction to college.

Normal timetables will commence for everyone on Monday 11 September.

All the Year 2 vocational courses at London Road Campus will recommence week starting Monday 11 September.

Students returning to college in Sept 2023 will have their timetables available from end of August via MySCG. We will keep you informed of the timings as we get closer to the start of the new term.

Students who are leaving the college this summer will see their MySCG deactivated by the start of the new term and after exam results/course outcomes have been released.

Other important dates for you

For students who have previously been in receipt of a bursary, we would like to remind you that bursary applications have to be redone ahead of September.

Getting your application done before Friday 14 July 2023 will mean that your bursary will be guaranteed for the start of the new term.

We would also like to remind you that all travel passes will need to be renewed for the new term.
