Students outside the college campus

We’d like to let you know that Consultation Evenings for Year 2 students who are studying A Level or Vocational Art courses are planned for this month.

We recommend that parents and students come together to these events since sharing opinions about students' progress is particularly valuable at this stage.

Parent Consultation Evenings details

These events are taking place on Thursday 23 November and Tuesday 28 November between 5.00pm and 8.00pm. These events are being held on our English Bridge Campus. Please sign in on arrival in the foyer.

Car parking space is not available for parents/carers or students on campus so please arrive in plenty of time to find a parking space nearby (such as Abbey Foregate car park). Please let us know if parents/carers have any concerns regarding mobility for which we need to provide support.

Parent Consultation Evening format

Staff will offer 10-minute appointments, booked by the student. We will advise them to make appointments at least 20 minutes apart, to give parents/carers time between appointments.

Students can start to make appointments from Monday 13 November.

If staff are unable to provide parents/carers with an appointment between these times, then an alternative form of communication will be offered.

Additional information

Senior staff will be available for consultation throughout the evening. Please make an appointment through Helen Phillips (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) should parents/carers wish to discuss specific educational needs and/or Study Support.

Part of the focus for these events will be the discussion of the first of this year’s Progress Review Grades. These will be available from Monday 13 November. Details of how to access these grades on our ProPortal system are available here.

Please contact Steve McAlinden at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you have any queries regarding the arrangements for these events.
