Specifically for people working in the Construction or Engineering industries who need to remove and replace cutting/grinding wheels or discs.

Entry Requirements
Practical knowledge and experience in the use of the equipment on which they would be expected to remove and replace the cutting/grinding wheels or discs.

What does the course involve?
The 3 hour course includes safe use of portable cutting/grinding power tools and Off Hand grinding machines and the removal and replacement of their related wheels and discs. Courses can be customised to suit the requirements of individual companies.

How is the course assessed?
There is no formal assessment, but candidates are assessed on their competence to carry out practical tasks effectively.

Additional Notes
A certificate will be awarded which will identify the particular portable power tools and machines covered during the course.
