Who is it for?
The course is aimed at those who use or want to develop counselling skills in a variety of settings. The course offers you the opportunity to identify, understand and evaluate key elements of the main theoretical approaches to counselling and practice and develop a range of interpersonal and counselling skills.
On completion of the course you will be aware of the skills required to initiate, maintain and conclude a counselling skills interaction and integrate these into your chosen setting. The course provides a nationally recognised qualification in counselling skills to those who complete it successfully. If you are currently studying with us at Level Two the taster and group interview will be conducted towards the end of your current course.
