Who is it for?
This 2-day workshop is designed to support managers to handle difficult situations professionally and with positive outcomes.

There are no prerequisites for enrolling on this workshop.

What does the course involve?
The workshop will focus on the following:
- Identifying and managing work-related stress
- Managing a diverse workforce and supporting an inclusive working environment
- Managing conflict in the workplace
- Managing poor performance and dealing with the discipline of team members
- Providing specific strategies to manage team performance

How is the course assessed?
Learning will be assessed by examining case studies and discussing good practice, reflecting on current practices and identifying where improvements can be made.

Additional Notes
The workshop will run on 2 consecutive Fridays from 9:00am to 4.30pm.
For eligible construction employers CITB attendance grants are available for these workshops.

If you are under 19 or haven’t lived in the UK for the last three years, please contact the college either in person or by phone on 01743 342333 between 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am-4.30pm on Friday to discuss your options further.
