A Craft Engineering Apprenticeship with Ricoh is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain practical, industry experience and achieve qualifications relevant to your chosen career path - all whilst earning a wage!

  • During this 4 year programme, you will learn how to carry out maintenance engineering activities, both planned and reactive on a variety of automated plant and equipment, including robots, digital manufacturing systems, conveyor systems and injection moulding machines.
  • You will also learn how to safely trouble shoot, identify, and rectify faults on a variety of high volume machinery and production lines, alongside the completion of planned preventative maintenance procedures.
  • The role will be based within our
    ‘multi-skilled’ Production Maintenance team.
  • You will gain skills including the ability to carry out Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) program interrogation to aid in fault diagnosis, to identify and rectify issues associated with electrical, mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic (fluid power) systems along with automated quality control equipment.
  • This programme is aimed at those seeking a career in the field of ‘hands-on’ engineering and is very much aimed towards those who favour a more practical learning experience based in a fast moving, highly automated workplace.
